With seven changes in the side, playing the top of the league Uxbridge never going to be easy.

In the first half we realised with Uxbridge playing some first team players that any mistakes made we would be punished.

Northwood fought well in the first period, but two mistakes cost two goals which left Woods 2-0 down at half time.

The second half saw an evenly matched game right up until the last ten minutes, when the fitter Uxbridge team took hold and scored two late goals.

The highlight for Northwood was a fantastic save from a penalty by the sixteen year old keeper Garry Malone. An excellent all round display from the young keeper despite teh match ending 4-0 to Uxbridge.
